MAS Dynamics is a green building consulting and engineering firm providing services in LEED, WELL, BREEAM, EDGE, Fitwel and ENERGY STAR certification, energy modelling, digital twins, commissioning, daylight and CFD analysis, life cycle assessment (LCA) and EPD consulting. It has supported commercial, residential and institutional clients with certification on more than 500 projects in Türkiye and abroad. Its references include Lakhta Center, Europe's tallest building, UC Merced, the first net-zero university campus in the USA, and the World Bank Group's Ankara office.
In Türkiye, it runs EDGE certification, especially for SHIFA Project health centres, with an İstanbul-based engineering team; the team combines EDGE Expert and GBCI-approved Approved EDGE Auditor credentials. Quotes are fixed; the audit is included.
What does Approved EDGE Auditor mean?
The EDGE system has three tiers. EDGE Expert: a consultant who has completed IFC training; prepares and models the project. EDGE Auditor: an independent auditor who has passed IFC's training and exam and signed an auditor agreement with GBCI; starts auditing, but every project they submit is reviewed by GBCI for quality. Approved EDGE Auditor: an auditor granted "approved" status because their completed audits meet GBCI's quality expectations; the status is maintained every two years through active audits or training. This title is earned not through training but through verified audit quality. Being "Approved" is not required for certification; any EDGE Auditor can audit. The difference is that the file gets stuck less at GBCI and the process is more predictable. The MAS Dynamics Türkiye team includes one of the few auditors holding this status.
